To my patients & friends,

There is something special about the relationship between a doctor and a patient. During life experiences of fear and joy, health and illness we have worked together to solve problems and to do our best to insure health and a fulfilling long life. You have honored me by trusting me with your care – thank you.

As you know over the last 10 years the team at TienaHealth has worked to create a really special group of medical providers working in a seamless, proactive fashion. We have worked to move our care from “come see us when you feel bad or run out of medicine” to “let us help you age well,” providing each of you with a free personalized web site, walk in service, extended hours, wellness and weight loss programs, one-stop shopping for most of the commonly needed services and a comprehensive research program to provide you with access to the newest, best medications even before they are available to the public.

To help you in this process I have enclosed is a list of the TienaHealth physicians and a personal comment about each provider (for more information please look at our provider page). I know many of you have come to TienaHealth because of my relationship with you. I hope that you will continue to come to TienaHealth because I believe these are the best group of providers working in the best system to insure that you “add years to your life and life to your years by empowering you to take control of your health.”

Ralph Cox – With over 20 years of primary care experience Ralph offers a unique blend of clinical sophistication and a dry wit and great sense of humor. He takes care of patients of all ages and can handle the most complicated and sick patients with great skill. Ralph received the honor of being named one of the top 100 doctors in Dallas and has received an MD, JD and MBA degree. He holds board certification in Family Medicine and Quality Assurance and sits for his Bariatric (weight loss) boards this fall.

Lisa Martin – Lisa is developing the office in Coppell. I recruited Lisa from Kansas where she was practicing comprehensive family practice, delivering babies and everything! She has great training, extensive experience and a loving heart for kids and adults alike. Her laugh will make you smile as she draws on her extensive experience to insure that the whole family – from birth to earth gets the care they deserve!

Terry Feehery – I began to follow Terry’s career when he first moved to Irving. A native of Philidelphia his great bedside manner and excellent training immediately established him as one of the best doctors I had ever met. When rumor had it he was thinking of moving, I pulled out all the stops to bring him to TienaHealth. His innate leadership abilities and the tremendous respect our doctors have for him have propelled him to the role as the medical director of TienaHealth. I can honestly say that I have never had a patient see Dr Feehery and not have them thank me afterwards.

Scott Freeman – The first doctor I recruited to join me as I began to build TienaHealth, Scott is the doctors’ doctor. I, and several other medical doctors, go to see Scott for our regular healthcare. Unassuming and quiet in his approach, his focused approach and 20 years of clinical experience have lead to a large, extremely loyal practice of grateful patients. I literally entrust Scott with my life.

David Slater – If I had to chose the closest “mini-me” of the group it would be David. Passionate about preventing illness, helping patients lose weight, and very direct in his approach, David moves from room to room challenging patients to “be all they can be.” Patients either love David’s insistence upon striving to maximize health or chose to move to a doctor that will leave them alone and let them continue their less than healthy habits. The director of our weight loss program for 2005 and 2006 David knows a lot about how to look better and live longer.

Michael Sullivan – Michael has a national following of patients. He has established himself as an expert in andropause (male menopause – yes, men we too go through a change of life) and menopause. Sophisticated and comprehensive in his approach he takes complicated patients and gradually fine tunes them into feeling better than they believed possible. For patients in their 40’s and beyond he identifies and manages problems before they every even know they are present. His practice is the busiest at TienaHealth with people flying in from all over the western hemisphere to seek his guidance and advice.

Mary Ward – I knew that Mary was perfect for TienaHealth the first time I spoke with her. Quickly our conversation focused on preventing and managing childhood obesity, preventive health, woman’s issues and how much she enjoys caring for the entire family. Since her arrival Mary has quickly build a very successful practice in which her patients benefit from her passion and enthusiasm. The role model of the new paradigm of family medicine, Mary has lived up to every expectation as a tremendous doctor.

Angelica Ybanez – Angelica has worked with Dr Feehery since finishing her medical training. Bilingual in Spanish and English, her focus on woman’s health and the special needs of the Hispanic population have lead to tremendous success. Her patients love her as she manages both the acute sudden illnesses and the more challenging chronic issues. Angelica has embraced and become a champion of the Seven Healers and effective, seamless healthcare.
