For your convenience, TIENAHEALTH offers a Walk-In Clinic. No appointment is necessary to handle your just-can't-wait health needs. We also provide an Evening Clinic to further serve your needs. Some space is reserved each day for urgent and emergency visits. When scheduling an appointment, it is important that you fully describe your problems to the scheduling staff so that we can allot enough time to address all of your needs. If you are a member of an HMO or PPO insurance plan, you will need to bring your ID card with you and present it to the receptionist prior to your appointment. Telephone Calls We provide 24-hour access to our physicians. We encourage our patients to contact us during normal business hours with any medical questions that they might have. Usually, your call will be answered by one of our receptionists. During times of heavy call volume, you may access our backup voice mail system, which will direct you to the appropriate staff member to handle your concerns. Phone calls of an urgent or emergency nature will be handled immediately. Non-emergency phone requests will be handled as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours. For your protection, we do not treat illnesses over the phone, but we can discuss questions regarding your illness. After-Hours Calls We are unable to refill prescriptions when the office is closed because we must have access to your medical records prior to granting a refill. Depending on your medical problem, and the medicine that your are requesting, you may be asked to make an appointment prior to refilling your prescription.
